It has been nearly a year since EA Dion, Inc. first partnered with Atlas Studios – a very successful year and one that I am confident is just the beginning of a great partnership. One of the most critical parts of our business (and most businesses) involves quoting our customers.

When dealing with precious metal jewelry, the ability to get an accurate weight is essential to the quoting process. If you estimate a weight that is too high, your quoted price will be far higher than the competition. Conversely, if it is too low, you will win the business but lose money when making it. With varied metal options and highly customized and complex designs, our manual method for estimating the weight of a piece based only on artwork was cumbersome, time consuming and only somewhat accurate.

When we first approached Atlas Studios with our need to find a better way to calculate the weight of a piece based only on artwork, we had no idea how it could be done. But thanks to Atlas Studio’s professional and talented team, what we had imagined became a reality – on time, on budget and far beyond our initial expectations. Today, our designers are able to produce accurate weights for even the most complicated designs in a variety of materials and thicknesses all within seconds of completing their design with just a few mouse clicks. Atlas Studios was able to take us from a static, dated website to a modern functioning website which has had rave reviews from clients since it was unveiled. But Atlas did far more than just design an outstanding site for us. They helped us develop our preliminary ideas into and again made them a reality. They advised us along the way, preparing us for the long range plans for the site and making sure our site would be able to support all our future goals. They worked with our ISP and helped us with the transition to a new ISP. And most importantly, they worked closely with our staff every step of the way and made sure our staff was able to truly make the site “live” by making frequent updates, adding new images, etc… all on our own. Now, as we approach the start of the second year of our partnership, we are looking forward to progressing on our plans for the website.
